Masala Aloo (Spicy Potatoes)



Masala Aloo/ Spicy Potatoes are coated with spices and ready in under 30 minutes, they double up as appetizer and main course.

INGREDIENTS:
500 grams Baby Potatoes (boiled)
cooking oil (Mustard Oil)(2 tbsp)
1 tsp Cumin seeds ((jeera))
       2 Dry red chilies
1/2 tsp Turmeric (powder (haldi))
to taste Salt
       Ginger+Garlic+ Chili (Chopped)
Coriander Leaves and spring onions (Chopped for Garnish)

Method :-
1 Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and dry red chili. let it crackle in hot mustard oil.
2 Once they start spluttering, reduce the heat and add Chopped Ginger, Garlic and Chilies. Add turmeric 
3 Sauté for a few seconds add potatoes and salt.
4 Mix well so that the spices coat the potatoes. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
5 Sauté the potatoes till they are nicely coated with the spices.
6 Turn off the heat and top Spicy Potatoes with chopped coriander and sliced Green Onions.Serve hot.
